Lyon, FranceAngela Andrew is a teacher, performer and choreographer. She was born and raised in Hackney, in London's East End, and has a background in music and dance. She is a self-taught dancer, hailing from the first generation of lockers, poppers and break-dancers. Her love of jazz music led her to search for the roots of street-dance. She discovered Lindy Hop in 1991 at the famous London Club 'Jitterbugs'.Angela is one of the most exciting personalities in the international Lindy Hop scene and is renowned for her explosive energy and improvisational skills on the dance floor. She has worked with many of the great masters of Swing dance, including Frankie Manning, who ranked her as one of the top 5 female dancers in the world: an amazing accolade from an equally amazing person. |

| Chantal und Robert | |
|
Eindhoven, NiederlandeRobert and Chantal are infected with the Lindy Hop virus since 1999. From their regular visits to the United States they learned that the best way to master the Lindy Hop is by going to social dances. From that moment their main goal became to dance with as many different people as possible. This way of learning also proved to contain the highest fun factor. In their classes Robert and Chantal try to stay as close as possible to the laws that govern the social dance floor. They focus on simple moves in a number of variations. By mixing them up people can work on their lead and follow skills. Robert and Chantal also like to work with their students on musicality, since they believe that music is the main driving power for all interesting moves. Robert and Chantal started teaching in 2002. They gradually built a small but steady Lindy scene in their home town Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Robert and Chantal have taught at Lindy Hop workshops In Belgium, Lanzarote and Germany. They have been announced as the Lindy hop Think tank for one of these workshops. They are still wondering why. Visit their homepage: http://www.lindyhop.nl. |

| Silke and Florian | |
|
Braunschweig, GermanySilke and Florian have been mad about Lindy Hop since 2003. They enjoy listening to Swing music while dancing Lindy Hop to almost every sound. Since several years they have been teaching in Braunschweig, Germany, and have tried to translate their dance enthusiasm to the group in each single class. For this, they set a high value on fun, harmonic leading, and on the feeling for music. Silke and Florian are around at workshops in Germany and Europe, exploring diversity in Lindy Hop. And guess: Which Lindy workshop was their first one ever? :-) At the LipHop10 they will teach beginners level. If you are on a trip to Berlin, you have to make a stop in Brunswiek to visit the Dance 'n' Swing Company. |
